Program of NUEPA which was implemented in 2015-16. In Delhi, this program was launched in 2016-17 in all 5760 schools. The main objective of the “Shaala Siddhi” program is to evaluate each school as an institution and to create a culture of self-upgradation with accountability.

- The program envisions reaching 1.5 million schools in the country through a comprehensive system of school evaluation.
- As part of this endeavour, the School Standards and Evaluation Framework (SSEF) has been developed as an instrument for evaluating school performance.
- This will enable the school to evaluate its performance against the well-defined criteria in a focused and strategic manner.
- The SSEF comprises seven ‘Key Domains’ as the significant criteria for evaluating the performance of schools. The ‘Framework’ has been developed through a participatory and mutual consensus approach on ‘How to evaluate diversified Indian schools for Incremental Improvement’.
- The SSEF has the flexibility that makes it eminently suitable for adaptation, contextualization, and translation in state-specific languages. It has been designed as a strategic instrument for both self and external evaluation.
- Both the evaluation processes are complementary to each other and ensure that the two approaches work in synergy for the improvement of the school as a whole.

First, the authorized person or school should register on the portal.
- First of all, you visit the official website of Shaala Siddhi which is shaalasiddhi.niepa.ac.in.
- On the homepage, click the login button.
- For new users, click the option “New user” to continue.
Enter the requested details:

- Enter UDISE code
- Applicant first name
- Last name
- Active mobile number and email ID.
- The system will send an OTP to the registered mobile number.
