Board of Secondary Education, Assam which is commonly known as SEBA is a state education regulatory board. This board was founded on 29 January 1962. Ministry of Education and the Government of Assam are the Parent organizations of this board. Its headquarter is situated in Guwahati, Assam, India.
Nayan Jyoti Sarma is the exam controller. The official languages of this board are Assamese, English, and Hindi. This board was formed under the Assam Secondary Education Act, of 1961. R.C. Jain, IAS is the chairman of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam. The SEBA was founded by S. C. Rajkhowa. Suranjana Senapati, IAS is serving as a Secretary of the organization.
