वाहन चालविण्याची कौशल्य चाचणी २ प्रकारची जसे अ) हलके वाहन चालविण्याची चाचणी-२५ गुण आणि ब) जीप प्रकारातील वाहन चालविण्याची चाचणी-२ गुण अशी एकूण ५० गुणांची घेण्यात येणार असून उमेदवारांना सदर चाचणीमध्ये ४० टक्के गुण मिळवून उत्तीर्ण होणे आवश्यक आहे. जे उमेदवार ४० टक्के गुण मिळवून उत्तीर्ण होतील ते उमेदवार लेखी परीक्षेकरीता पात्र ठरतील. तसेच कौशल्य चाचणी ही केवळ एक अर्हता पापणी असून सदर चाचणीत मिळालेले गुण, गुणवत्ता यादी तयार करण्यासाठी विचारात घ्यावयाच्या एकूण गुणात समाविष्ट केले जाणार नाहीत याचीही उमेदवारांनी नोंद घ्यावी.
