National Eligibility cum Entrance Test that is commonly known as NEET is an all-India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc. NEET 2023 exam date has been announced by the National Testing Agency by issuing notification for NEET 2023 through an online medium. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ie NEET 2023 (NEET 2023) at the national level for Medical, Dental, AYUSH, and Nursing courses.
As per the official announcement NEET 2023 exam date will be conducted on May 07, 2023. The application process for NEET 2023 has been started on 06 March. Those candidates who want to appear should apply on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply is April 6 (by 9 pm). NEET 2023 (NEET 2023) is a pen and paper-based test, in which questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are asked from the syllabus of classes 11 and 12.

NEET Notification 2023 pdf Exam Pattern
Here are the details about the NEET Exam pattern:
- Mode:
The exam will be held in offline mode (pen and paper-based).
- Number of Questions:
There will be 200 questions out of which 180 questions are mandatory. In section B, choices will be given to candidates.
- Type of Questions:
The question will comprise Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Duration:
The duration of the exam would be 3 hours and 20 minutes.
- Medium:
The NEET question paper 2023 will be in these languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, and Punjabi.
- Marking Scheme:
Candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Application Fee
The application fee payable for different categories is:
- Candidates of the General Category can pay Rs.1700/-.
- Candidates of the General- EWS/ OBC-NCL can pay Rs.1600/-.
- Candidates of the SC/ ST/ PWD/ Transgender category can pay Rs.1000/-.
- For those candidates who are applying from outside India, the application fee is Rs.9500/-.
- Candidates also have to pay additional charges and GST.
- The application fee can be submitted online mode only through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit card, or UPI.
How to Fill NEET 2023 Application Form?
Here are the details about the NEET 2023 Application form-filling procedure:
- Candidates who want to apply for the examination are required to fill out the application form from 6th March 2023.
- Once the application opens, you have to fill the application form with correct details like name, address, etc.
- After filling out the form, click next and upload the scanned copy of the required documents.
- Candidates must submit the application form before 6th April 2023, as no application form will be accepted after that date.
- Pay the application fee using a Debit/ Credit card, UPI, Net banking, etc.
- Download, save, and print a copy of the confirmation page of the application form for future reference.

NEET 2023 Application Correction Window
- NEET (UG) Application correction will start in April 2023.
- In the application form, candidates could alter any details and exam city selections.
- Candidates will be needed to NEET log in by entering their application number and password in order to make an edit and utilize the NEET 2023 correction window.
- There are some details that cannot be changed in the NEET correction window- Registered mobile number and Email ID registered.
