The holiday calendar for the new year 2022 has been released by Kolhan University (KU), located in West Singhbhum, Jharkhand. Its approval had already been given by the University’s calendar-making committee and syndicate. In the new holiday table, a maximum number of holidays has been fixed under the months of September, October, and November. Beneath this, leave has been approved in different categories under the Vacational and Non-Vacational Department. In the holiday table fixed by the university for the new year, the period of summer vacation from the Vacational Department has been reduced and adjusted with the holidays of other categories. There is no change in the total number of holidays fixed by the University in the previous years.
As per the annual holiday calendar fixed by Kolhan University, 19 affiliated colleges and presently upgraded as universities, Jamshedpur Women’s University decides the holidays. Classes are suspended on vacation days. During the holiday period of the non-vacation department, office-related work is also closed along with studies. The same holiday table is useful in affiliated colleges as well.
