Dear readers, here we are offering Income Tax Slab for AY 2023-24 PDF to all of you. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the general budget. In the Budget 2023, the middle class has been battered. If seen for the last 5 years, apart from changing the tax regime, the taxpayer has not got any major relief in income tax.
The income tax exemption limit has been increased to Rs 3 lakh. What the common man waits for the most in the budget is the Finance Minister’s announcement on income tax. Sitharaman said that those earning Rs 3 to 6 lakh annually will have to pay 5% tax.
The last change in the income tax slab was made in the year 2017-18. In such a situation, this time the taxpayer is expecting a big relief from the Finance Minister.Rs 9 lakh to Rs 12 lakh will be taxed at 15%, Rs 12 lakh to Rs 15 lakh at 20% and income above Rs 15 lakh will be taxed at 30%.
