Amul (Anand Cooperative Milk Producers Union), was established on 14 December 1946 as a dairy cooperative movement. Which soon became a house-to-house brand that was promoted and circulated by Gujarat Co-operative Milk Distribution Association. The major products of Amul are Milk, Milk Powder, Butter, Ghee, Cheese, Curd, Chocolate, Shrikhand, Ice Cream, Paneer, Gulab Jamun, Nutramool, etc.
